The Promise returns to Branson . . . This week Mansion America Theatre, in conjunction with Word Entertainment, Nashville, Tennessee announced plans to bring the award winning musical, The Promise, back to Branson, Missouri in the spring of 2006.

“Although the story itself will always be the same, our goal is to create a production that will be awe-inspiring and spectacular,” according to Larry Wilhite, General Manager. “With a facility like Mansion America and the technical capabilities it offers, we believe the presentation of The Promise will continue to be a show that will be talked about, hopefully for another 2000 years.”

For the 2006 Season, The Promise will fill the 3pm time slot, while Celebrate America will continue to be the 8pm show.
Vienna Boys Choir sings at Silver Dollar City, November 18-19, 2005

The Old Time Christmas festival is in full-swing and part of the entertainment includes The Vienna Boys Choir performing at 3 and 6:30 p.m. on November 18th & 19th. Silver Dollar City is located at 399 Indian Point Road, Branson, Missouri.
Something new in the Branson Area Festival of Lights Driving Tour

This year’s displays are all over the city. You’ll see a Nativity Scene, Santa’s Elves , a Giant Christmas Tree, and much more. A "treasure hunt" in which drivers look for the 12 Days Of Christmas displays is new this year. One winner will get a free trip to BransonFest 2006. The Branson Chamber of Commerce and its website have a map of the Festival of Lights Driving Tour. The event is FREE and happens November 1 through December 31, 2005.
